In early April Mary Scott was hospitalized for a spinal issue causing her to lose feeling
in her hands and toes. She underwent surgery to correct this issue. She had a PICC tube put in to help with her nutrition
and has been moved to a long-term acute care facility. Please continue to keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

Some families know a great deal about their roots; others know very little. This site is an attempt to record what I've
learned about our family history. In these modern times, families tend to be scattered all over the country, if not the world.
One of the goals of this web site is to help our family stay connected even though we live far apart.
Most of this information was obtained from talking to living relatives and from Uncle Coley's manuscript that
he did before he died. Aunt Mary Jo and several others have sent me several OLD family pictures and I have picked the
memories of many family members as well.
Many many thanks to Joyce Ann, (Allen and Ella's daughter) for sharing all the old family photos. She has Ruby
Lillian Woods Scott's original photo album with some very very old photos in it. Thanks for sharing with us Joyce!!!

The 74th Reunion was a great success! It was a small reunion this
year, but as always, it was nice to see everyone. We look forward to the major 75th reunion which will take
place on Sunday, July 29th, 2012. There are only four weekends in July 2012, so please remember the reunion will still
be held the fourth weekend of July, but there are also only four weekends in that month. The location will remain
the same. We will meet at the Comanche Community Center in Comanche, TX. Please refer to the Family Reunion page for the address and phone number of the Community Center.
The center will be available to the JNS family from 3:00PM on Saturday, and all day Sunday.
